Gundam gets a live-action movie from Netflix

Netflix has revealed that the anime Mobile Suit Gundam (Yoshiyuki Tomino and Hajime Yatate) will be getting a live-action . According to reports, the production will be produced by Legendary Entertainment and directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts : Skull Island).

Synopsis: Earth is suffering from overpopulation and pollution. In this situation, the solution was to colonize space. To this end, countless space colonies were created around Earth, these colonies were called Sides ("sides" or "parallels"). This resulted in the beginning of a new era, the Space Age, and dubbed UC 0001 (Universal Century).

Ultimately no release date was revealed.
