The wait finally is over! The long -awaited Mobile Suit Anime Gundam Gquuuuuux debuts in April, exclusively on the Amazon Prime Video . Developed in an unprecedented partnership between the Sunrise studio and the renowned Studio Khara, the project also features the participation of Hideaki Anno , creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion -which is already reason enough to make fans of Mecha and SCI-Fi in polly.

What to expect from the new Gundam Gquuuuuux?
The story takes place in an alternative reality of the classic Universal Century timeline, where Char Aznable steals the federation's Gundam. After a mysterious meeting with a Newtype, Char disappears along with the unit in an event named the Zeknova incident. Years later, the young Amate “Machu” Yuzuriha gets involved with clandestine mobile suits struggles and discovers her own Newtype powers, while crossing the path of Shuji Ito, pilot of the lost Gundam of Char.
Gquuuuuux promises to be a striking experience for both bold plot and animation quality. And with the involvement of names like Hideaki Anno, the expectation is one of the great anime of 2025.
Gundam Gquuuuuux Ep. 1: Release date
The first episode will be released on April 8, 2025 at dawn on Tuesday, at 12:30 pm JST, which corresponds to 8:30 am (Brasília time). Unlike other franchise titles, Gquuuuuux will not be available on platforms like Crunchyroll - so it is good to ensure access to Amazon.
