Gundam universe continues to shine in theaters! The latest film in the franchise, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning" , has just reached an impressive milestone: it has become the second highest-grossing Gundam film in Japan .

With a gross of 2.5 billion yen (approximately R$94 million), the film surpassed “Mobile Suit Gundam III: Confrontations in Space” (1982), which until then occupied the second place with 2.3 billion yen.

Now, the new film is second only to the phenomenon "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed FREEDOM" (2024), which continues to reign supreme with 4.7 billion yen (approximately R$176 million) in revenue.
