Gundam the Witch from Mercury has a new trailer and promotional image

Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury franchise has been released. According to the official website , the anime premieres on October 2nd in Japan.

The animation is by Sunrise and directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi (Kimi no Iru Machi, Kiznaiver, Spriggan).

Synopsis:

An era in which a multitude of corporations entered space and built a massive economic system. A lonely girl from the remote planet Mercury is transferred to the Asticassia School of Technology, run by the Beneritt Group, which dominates the mobile suit industry.

The series will be the first all-new series in the franchise since Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans .

Gundam: The Witch From Mercury has a simulcast planned for October outside of Japan.
