The manga series Gushing Over Magical Girls is on hiatus

The reason for the announcement of Gushing Over Magical Girls' hiatus was due to author Akihiro Ononaka experiencing health problems.
Synopsis
In the story, we meet Hiiragi Utena. A normal high school girl who loves magical girls – or at least I used to, but then a talking mascot appeared out of nowhere and cast a spell on me! But this is Utena's chance to join my beloved magical girls as… a villain? Wait, something's wrong with my outfit! This can't be happening!
The manga was adapted into an anime that premiered in January 2024, produced by Asahi Production , and directed by Tadato Suzuki (episode director for Fruits Basket 2019) and Atsushi Ootsuki (Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox, Motto To Love Ru).
Finally, Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete had its publication consolidated in 2019 in Manga Life Storia and later moved to Storia Dash with 8 tankōbon volumes released in October 2022. J-Novel Club licensed the series for English release, beginning pre-publication in March 2022. However, Coolmic licensed the series and published the manga in installments at the end of December 2022.
