This year, the monthly Shonen Jump is announcing that "Haikyuu!!," a manga by author Haruichi Furudate, will be getting its own film compilation, with all episodes of the first season edited into a feature film. The film is part of the "Haikyu!! Itadaki Project 2015," which will have more information soon.

Production IG will return to the project and also direct the second season. The anime premiered in April of last year, and the Crunchyroll pay channel currently streams the series, which aired in Japan.
