This year the monthly magazine Shonen Jump is announcing that “Haikyuu!!” The author's manga work “Haruichi Furudate” will be compiled into a film, that is, all episodes from the first season edited into a feature film. The film is part of “Haikyu!! Itadaki Project 2015”, which will soon have new features.
Production IG will return to the project again and also to direct the second season. The anime premiered in April last year and the paid channel Crunchyroll currently broadcasts the series as it aired in Japan.
