The official website for the Haikyu!! anime adaptation by author Haruichi Furudate has been updated with two promotional videos, both featuring the opening and ending theme songs “Imagination” by SPYAIR and “Tenchi Gaeshi” by NICO Touches the Walls.
In the manga by author Haruichi Furudate, a boy named Hinata Shouyou, after watching a volleyball match, aspires to become a "Little Giant" and joins the volleyball club at his elementary school. After finding new members, they enter the middle school tournament, where they encounter the "King of the Court," Kageyama Tobio. Despite losing, Shouyou is still determined to reach the top and exact his revenge against Kageyama. Upon entering high school, he receives a big surprise: he and Kageyama are in the same school and the same club!
The anime is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television on April 6th.
