An interview was held with the editor of the Attack On Titan manga , Shintaro Kawakubo , where he revealed some details about the planning after the end of the work and the future of Haijime Isayama (author of the work) as a mangaka.
Unfortunately for some, Shintaro Kawakubo states that the author has ruled out producing a sequel, check out the words said by the editor during the interview:
“There is no reason for there to be any sequel or derivative work. We have heard many requests from fans regarding this, but we regret to inform you that it is not possible. In fact, Isayama is quite exhausted now, so even his next serialization remains uncertain.”
