Synopsis Hana-Kimi :

Mizuki Ashiya lives in the United States. She watches Japanese high jumper Sano Izumi compete on TV and is fascinated. When Sano gets injured and interrupts his sports career, Mizuki blames herself and decides to go to Japan to convince him to compete again. However, the only obstacle is that Sano's school is all-boys. Mizuki decides to change her appearance, cutting her hair and adapting her speech to pass as a boy. She enrolls at the school and becomes Sano's roommate, setting off a series of emotional events.

Finally, Hisaya Nakajo's work began in 1996 and ended in 2004 with 23 volumes published in the Hana to Yume magazine by Hakusensha, with several derivative projects during that time.
