Hana-Kimi manga gets anime adaptation

The story of the girl who disguises herself as a boy to enroll in an all-boys school.

On X's social networks (twitter), fans learned that Hana-Kimi 's shoujo manga (Hanazakari no kimitachi e) had its anime adaptation confirmed. Additionally, fans can check out the anime's first promotional image.

Therefore, no production casting information nor the voice actors for the anime were revealed.

Hana-Kimi Synopsis :

Mizuki Ashiya, lives in the United States. She watches Japanese Sano Izumi competing in the high jump on TV and is fascinated. When Sano gets injured and interrupts his sporting career, Mizuki blames herself and decides to go to Japan to convince him to return to competing. However, the only obstacle is that Sano's school is exclusively male. But Mizuki decides to change his appearance, cuts his hair and adapts his way of speaking to pass as a boy. She joins the school and becomes Sano's roommate, triggering a series of exciting events.

Finally, Hisaya Nakajo's work began in 1996 and ended in 2004 with 23 volumes published in the magazine Hana to Yume by Hakusensha, with several derivative projects during that time.
