manga website Comiplex revealed the staff, voice actors, and premiere date for the Hanabi-chan wa Okuregachi anime in 2022.

Hiromitsu Kanazawa is directing the anime at studio Gaina , while Asami Sodeyama is designing the characters.
The writer Shirogane and the artist Mamimu Hanabi-chan wa Okuregachi manga on the Comiplex website in November 2019, and the publisher Hero's Inc. released the fourth volume of the manga on October 29th.
