Scheduled to premiere in 2026, the anime adapts the manga by Hekiru Hikawa and features an unconventional romantic comedy. Ryusei lives as a reclusive gamer in the modern world. However, in his past life, he was the feared Demon King. Meanwhile, Meteor, the former heroine responsible for defeating him, now leads an ordinary life as a student.
Therefore, in the teaser, it's already possible to feel the chemistry between Fukuyama and Sekine. The quick and provocative exchanges reinforce the chaotic tone of the story. The animation is handled by LIDENFILMS , directed by Hideyo Yamamoto, with a soundtrack by Yuka Hashimoto and R・O・N.
Finally, the official website also released artwork and descriptions of the characters from their own points of view, further increasing audience anticipation.
