Author Nyoijizai, known for the manga Harukana Receive, has launched a new series titled Shinkon Dakedo Captain no Kanojo to wa Mada Yarenai. The work began publication on Kadokawa, expanding the artist's recent catalog focused on comedy and relationships.

The story of Shinkon Dakedo Captain no Kanojo follows the newlywed couple Yuto and Asuka. While she is a professional volleyball player recognized for her cool and disciplined demeanor on the court, at home she displays a completely different personality. After assuming the position of team captain, the two decide to postpone their intimate life until the end of an important tournament.
Nyoijizai gained prominence with Harukana Receive, a beach volleyball manga published between 2015 and 2020. The work received an anime adaptation in 2018.
