The official Twitter account for the anime Hataraku Saibou Black (Cells at Work! Code Black) has released a full promotional video revealing more cast and staff.
The spinoff of Hataraku Saibou, inspired by the manga by Shigemitsu Harada and Issei Hatsuyoshiya, will take a different approach, showing the more courageous side of the tasks our cells perform.
Synopsis
Alcohol, cigarettes, and stress—in a body subjected to these irritations, the cells responsible for maintaining life fight a never-ending war. Due to a severe shortage of workers, red blood cell AA2153 must quickly learn how to deliver oxygen and collect carbon dioxide even in dangerous situations. Meanwhile, white blood cell U-1196 does its part by dealing with germs and viruses during life-or-death situations. In the midst of this crisis, they must work together to keep the body healthy, despite the uncertainty of whether their sacrifices will be worth it.
