The team behind the anime "Heat the Pig Liver" (Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro) revealed the first promotional video and key image on Saturday. The video announces the anime's main staff and the adaptation's October premiere, and also features a preview of the main cast's voice talents.

Masayuki Takahashi (assistant director on Higehiro, Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon) is directing the anime at project No.9. Deko Akao (Higehiro, Komi Can't Communicate, Flying Witch) is supervising the series scripts, and Susumu Watanabe (Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!, Yōjo Shachō R) is in charge of character designs. Kenichiro Suehiro (Cells at Work!, Goblin Slayer, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) and MAYUKO (Cells at Work! theme songs) are composing the music.
Synopsis
The story follows an ordinary otaku who faints while eating raw pork liver, only to discover that rumors about being able to reincarnate in another world by doing so aren't entirely unfounded. Now a cute little pig, he meets Jess, a beautiful young woman capable of reading people's thoughts.
Heat the Pig Liver is a Japanese light novel written by Takuma Sakai and illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka. ASCII Media Works has published seven volumes since March 2020 under its Dengeki Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Minami has been serialized in ASCII Media Works' seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh since August 2020.
