Heat the Pig Liver: Episode 12 delayed and premiere moved to 2024

Arthur Vinicius
I'm a technology enthusiast and a lover of anime, manga, and games. The vast majority of anime I enjoy belong to the Shounen demographic.

The official website for the anime Heat the Pig Liver ( Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro ) announced on Sunday that the 12th episode will be delayed until at least January 2024, due to scheduling issues following the postponement of the ninth episode.

The schedule for airing the 12th episode will be made public at a later date. It's worth remembering that the ninth episode of the anime was postponed to December 9th, from its original scheduled date of December 2nd, in order to maintain quality.

The anime premiered on October 7th of this year.

Masayuki Takahashi (assistant director on Higehiro, Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon) is directing the anime at studio project No.9 . Deko Akao (Higehiro, Komi Can't Communicate, Flying Witch) is supervising the series scripts.

Synopsis

The story follows an ordinary otaku who faints while eating raw pork liver, discovering that the rumors about being able to reincarnate in another world by doing so aren't so unfounded after all. But now, as a small and cute pig, the boy meets Jess, a beautiful young woman capable of reading people's thoughts.

Buta no Liver is a Japanese light novel series written by Takuma Sakai and illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka. ASCII Media Works has published seven volumes since March 2020 under its Dengeki Bunko imprint.

Finally, a manga adaptation with art by Minami began serialization in ASCII Media Works' seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh in August 2020.
