The official anime website Heat the Pig Liver ( Buto No Liver Wa Kanetsu Shiro ), released a new promotional video dedicated to the final episode.
However, the 12th and last episode of the adaptation will be released from February 5, 2024.
Synopsis Heat the Pig Liver
The story follows an ordinary otaku who faints while eating raw pork liver, discovering that the rumors about it being possible to reincarnate in another world by doing this are not so unfounded. But now as a cute little pig, the boy meets Jess, a beautiful young woman capable of reading people's thoughts.
Masayuki Takahashi (assistant director on Higehiro, Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon) is directing the anime at studio project No.9 . Deko Akao (Higehiro, Komi Can't Communicate, Flying Witch) is supervising the series' scripts.
Buta no Liver is, therefore, a Japanese light novel written by Takuma Sakai and illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka. ASCII Media Works has published seven volumes since March 2020 under its Dengeki Bunko imprint.
Finally, a manga adaptation with art by Minami has started in ASCII Media Works' seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh since August 2020.
