Arthur Vinicius
I'm a technology enthusiast and a lover of anime, manga, and games. The vast majority of anime I enjoy belong to the Shounen demographic.

The official website for Heaven Burns Red , the new smartphone game Jun Maeda (Kanon, Air, Clannad, Angel Beats!), has announced that it has been delayed until February 2022.

The game's YouTube channel also released a new trailer showcasing the members of "Squad 31X," check it out:

In the story, mysterious life forms called "Cancer" are attacking Earth, and the planet is on the brink of a true crisis. Humans have tried to fight back with their weapons, but these weapons have been ineffective, and the Cancer has continued to gain ground, and countries have disappeared in the horrors of war. Now, Cancer controls most of the planet's land. With humanity on the brink of extinction, they develop a new weapon called Seraph. Only those who wield a Seraph can defeat Cancer. Soon, a Seraph Corps is established, and the women in the squads carry the weight of humanity's hope on their shoulders. Ruka Kayamori is one of these people, a member of Squad 31A. She puts everything she has into the fight against Cancer.

The game was originally scheduled for release in 2020 for iOS and Android , but was delayed until mid-2021, then delayed again to another 2021 window, before this latest delay. Heaven Burns Red is Jun Maeda's first completely new project in 13 years.
