The trailer for the previously announced anime Heavy Object, a science fiction/action work by author Kazuma Kamachi (the same author of Toaru Majutsu no Index), was released at the Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival event.
The story revolves around powerful objects that become enormous weapons that change the course of war, used by elite pilots. A girl named Milinda studies and aims to become an object mechanic, undergoing military training in the city of Heivia on a snowy battlefield.
The series was adapted into a light novel by Kamachi with illustrations by Nagi, which in turn inspired a manga by Shinsuke Inue.
