The official website for the Helck anime has revealed a new trailer and promotional art for the second arc. Additionally, based on the Blu-ray listings, the premiere is scheduled for October, and there will be 24 episodes in total.

The anime premiered on July 11th and will continue its broadcast in two parts (cours).
Nanaki Nanao is therefore credited with the original work, while Sho Kobayashi is credited with cooperation on the original work. Tatsuo Sato (Lagrange – The Flower of Rin-ne, Martian Successor Nadesico) is then directing the anime at studio Satelight .
Synopsis
The Demon World is organizing a contest to choose its successor, since they defeated the Demon King. Helck, a muscular and high-level human, has applied for the position and claims he wants to destroy his own race! Red Vamirio, one of the four Heavenly Kings of the Demon Empire, is astonished by Helck's claim and asks to personally supervise the human in order to investigate his strange decision. Will she be able to uncover what's behind this strange character's plans?
Finally, the author began serializing the manga on the Manga ONE and Ura Sunday services in 2014 and finished in 2017. Furthermore, Shogakukan published a total of 12 volumes of the manga.
