A preview video for the original film “Hello World” directed by Tomohiko Ito with animation by studio Graphinic was revealed this Friday (24). The film will begin showing on September 20 in Japan.

The "sci-fi love story" film is set in Kyoto in the year 2027 and will showcase famous landmarks such as Fushimi Inari Taisha and Kamo Shrine. The film centers on Naomi Katagaki, a high school student. One day, someone claiming to be Naomi from 10 years in the future appears to young Naomi. Together, they must change the future and save a classmate, Ruri, whom young Naomi will begin dating in three months.
As mentioned before, the anime is being directed by Tomohiko Ito with animation by the studio Graphinic , in addition to Mado Nozaki being responsible for the story and Yukiko Horiguchi as character designer.
