Jump Festa '24 event revealed promotional art and a new voice actor for the second season of the anime “ Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku “.
Ryōta Suzuki will play the character Yamada Asaemon Shugen , who first appeared in the 13th and final episode of the first season.
The first season of the anime premiered on April 1 and aired on TV Tokyo and its affiliates.
Synopsis
Gabimaru, once exalted as the strongest ninja, but who has now abandoned his profession, violating the laws of his village. After being captured, he claims he no longer has a reason to live. However, due to his superhuman training, he inadvertently survived multiple executions, from attempted decapitation to burning at the stake. Executioner Sagiri Asaemon tells him that he still has an attachment to life and gives him a mission to gain his absolution: find the elixir of immortality.
The manga debuted on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website and app in January 2018 and ended the series in January 2021. The 13th and final volume of the manga launched in April 2021.
