to information from the website Deadline , Amazon Studios is developing the live-action Hellsing .

Furthermore, the script is being written by Derek Kolstad (John Wick), who is also a producer.

Dark Horse Comics publishes the manga in English and describes the story:

With supernatural horrors haunting the streets and attacking humanity, the shadowy Hellsing Organization battles the minions of hell. And Hellsing has a secret weapon in its arsenal: the vampire lord Alucard, whose terrifying powers are needed more than ever as an army of the undead marches on London under the flag of the swastika!

Kouta Hirano launched the manga in Young King Ours in 1997, ending in September 2008 after 11 years. Dark Horse published the tenth volume of the Hellsing manga in North America in May 2010. Dark Horse Comics is currently releasing the manga in a new three-volume hardcover deluxe edition, and the second volume shipped in November 2020.

The manga inspired an anime in 2001 with 13 episodes on DVD between 2002 and 2003. Funimation re-released the series on DVD in 2012, thus earning OVAs called Hellsing Ultimate shown on an irregular schedule between 2006 and 2012. Geneon released up to the third volume in America of North in 2007, before Funimation began distributing the anime.

Finally, Crunchyroll began streaming the anime in April 2017.
