The official Twitter account for the television anime “Helck” revealed on Wednesday (26) that singer and voice actress Aimi will perform the opening theme song, titled “HELP,” for the anime’s second cour.

It's worth remembering that Aimi also voices the character Iris in the anime. The anime premiered on July 11th and will have a continuous run of two cours.

Synopsis

The Demon King has been defeated, and now the Demon World is organizing a contest to choose his successor. A muscular, high-level human named Helck has entered the race and claims he wants to destroy his own race! Red Vamirio, one of the four Heavenly Kings of the Demon Empire, is stunned by Helck's claim and asks to personally supervise the human to investigate his strange decision. Will she be able to uncover what lies behind this strange character's plans?

Nanaki Nanao is therefore credited with the original work, while Sho Kobayashi is credited with cooperation on the original work. Tatsuo Sato (Lagrange – The Flower of Rin-ne, Martian Successor Nadesico) is directing the anime at studio Satelight. Toshizo Nemoto and Mitsutaka Hirota are in charge of the scenario, while Yoshinori Deno is designing the characters for animation. Finally, Yoshihisa Hirano is composing the music.

The author then began serializing the manga on the Manga ONE and Ura Sunday services in 2014 and finished in 2017. Ultimately, Shogakukan published a total of 12 volumes of the manga.
