The new January issue of Comic Birz's "Gentosha" magazine confirmed that a new TV series based on the comedy anime " Hetalia " is in production, titled Hetalia-The World Twinkle. With no release date in Japan, further information will be announced soon in the magazine.
Hetalia: The World Twinkle will be the sixth season inspired by the work of author Hidekaz Himaruya. The manga features archetypal characteristics of countries and regions around the world .
The previous season, Hetalia The Beautiful World, was released in 2013. Tokyopop published the first two volumes of the manga, but ceased its publishing operations in America in 2011. Right Stuff announced in 2012 that it was partnering with Japanese publisher Gentosha Comics and Tokyopop to release the manga, and has published all six volumes released so far.
