Media Factory 's channel has released its new trailer for the anime Hidan no Aria AA (Aria the Scarlet Ammo Double A). The series premieres on October 6th on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, and BS11.
Takashi Kawabata, who directed some episodes of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, is the director of the series.
Unlike the 2011 first season, the story follows Akari Mamiya, a first-year Butei E-rank student at Tokyo Butei High School. She aims to become a "Butei" and idolizes her classmate and world-famous Butei S-rank Aria H. Kanzaki. Akari's dream is to follow in Aria's footsteps and also become super famous, which is a nearly impossible mission, but all is not lost, as Aria agrees to help this young woman. Will Aria be able to help this newbie become a top-tier Butei?
