It has been revealed that the anime Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshi Kōsei o Hirou (What Happened When I Shaved My Beard) will premiere on Japanese television on April 5th. According to the official website , a trailer for the series has been released.

Synopsis:
Yoshida has been in love with his coworker, Airi Gotou, for five years. Despite finally managing to get a date with her, his confession is promptly rejected. Drunk and disappointed, he stumbles home, only to find a high school girl sitting by the side of the road. The girl, needing a place to spend the night, tries to seduce Yoshida. Despite rejecting her advances, he invites her to his apartment.
Finally, the anime is animated by Studio Project No. 9 and directed by Manabu Kamikita. The light novel also received a manga adaptation in November 2018 by Kadokawa Shoten in the Monthly Shonen Ace illustrated by Imaru Adachi ; the manga currently has 3 volumes.
