It has been revealed that the anime Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshi Kōsei o Hirou (What Happened When I Shaved My Beard) will premiere on April 5th on Japanese television. According to the official website, a trailer for the series has been released.

Synopsis:
Yoshida has been in love with his coworker, Airi Gotou, for five years. Despite finally arranging a date with her, his confession is promptly rejected. Drunk and disappointed, he stumbles home, only to find a high school girl sitting by the side of the road. The girl, needing a place to stay for the night, tries to seduce Yoshida. Despite rejecting her advances, he invites her to his apartment.
Finally, the anime is animated by Project No. 9 and directed by Manabu Kamikita. The light novel also received a manga adaptation in November 2018 by Kadokawa Shoten in the Monthly Shonen Ace illustrated by Imaru Adachi . The manga has 3 volumes so far.
