The production team behind the poker-themed anime High Card revealed a second promotional video and more cast members on Monday for the anime's second season.

The new cast of the anime includes:
- Kaori Nazuka as Gao Wan
- Kensho Ono as Sonic Move
The new season premieres on January 8th.
The first season was directed by Junichi Wada , with scripts by Kenichi Yamashita , Kazuhiko Inukai , and Shingo Nagai , and character designs by Nozomi Kono .
Synopsis
The story features young people whose job is to collect "expulsion cards" that grant them different skills.
Finally, the original story for High Card is written by Homura Kawamoto , of ' Kakegurui ' fame, Hikaru Muno , who is working on the novelization of ' Kakegurui ', and by TMS Entertainment , which produced the anime series ' Lupin the Third' and ' Detective Conan ' .
