It has been revealed that the anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou will have a second season. According to the official website , the new anime will arrive in July 2021.

Finally, the animation is by studio Passione ( High School DxD ), directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Please Tell Me! Galko-chan) with a story by Naoki Hayashi (Black Fox, Citrus).
