We'll soon have the long-awaited He-Man . Now, Paramount Pictures has fired former THR director John M. Chu, who was attached to the project, and has finally hired a new screenwriter for the epic: Terry Rossio , the same man responsible for the box office failure of the film The Lone Ranger starring Johnny Depp. Let's hope we'll get a good film tied to this universe.
The new film, which doesn't yet have a release date, will be set on Eternia and will be faithful to the mythology presented in the cartoons. Unlike the classic 1980s version, which starred none other than Dolph Lundgren as He-Man and had absolutely no connection to the classic series.
