The official website for Hitsugi no Chaika released the first promotional video for its second season. Titled Chaika – The Coffin Princess, the video shows the anime's opening theme song, “Shikkoku o Nuritsubuse” in the voice of (Paint Out the Jet Black).
The anime will feature the return of Junji Majima as Tohru Acura , Chika Anzai as Chaika Travant , Yuko Hara as Akari Acura, and Chiwa Saito as Frederica . Soichi Masui ( Scrapped Princess) is returning to direct the anime with series composition Touko Machida ( Tears to Tiara ). Nobuhiro Arai (Honey and Clover animation ) will design the series' characters while Seikou Nagaoka is composing the soundtrack .
The second season is scheduled to hit screens in Japan in October this year.
