Hokuto no Ken: New anime gains look to 2026

The official website revealed a new look of the Anime at Ken (Fist of the North Star), a new adaptation for 2026. However, the anime will feature a completely new cast.

Synopsis No Ken

The manga's story is set in a post-apocalyptic world and centers on a man named Kenshiro, a master and successor of a deadly martial art, as he roams the nuclear wasteland protecting the weak and innocent from violent bandits. In his travels, he must face other martial arts masters and figures from his past, including his “brother” Raoh, who has crowned himself king of the new world.

Therefore, the work Hokuto no Ken, created by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara, had two seasons aired between 1984 and 1988, totaling 152 episodes. The original manga gained publication in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, between 1983 and 1988. Finally, Hokuto inspired several other anime, movies and derived works.
