Yukito Ayatsuji, known for the famous horror light novel Another , announced that he is working on a new story, or rather a new light novel (novels with manga-style illustrations) , with the provisional title Another 2. However , he had two story ideas , but this one is still incomplete.
He then added that this new series will likely begin publication in a monthly magazine. What we can expect from this news is that eager fans may get a new animated series very soon.
The original story revolves around mystery and horror, written by Yukito Ayatsuji and published on October 29, 2009, by Kadokawa Shoten. A manga adaptation by Hiro Kiyohara was serialized between May 2010 and January 2012 in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine. A 12-episode anime series based on the novel aired from January 10 to March 26, 2012, produced by PA Works studio. A live-action film was released in August in Japan.
