Yukito Ayatsuji , known for the famous horror light novel Another , announced that he is working on a new story, that is, a new light novel (novels with manga-style illustrations) , with the provisional title Another 2 . However, he had two story ideas , but this one was incomplete.
He then added that this new series will probably begin to be published in a monthly magazine. What we can expect from this news is that eager fans can get a new animated series very soon.
The original story revolves around the mystery and horror written by Yukito Ayatsuji, published on October 29, 2009 by Kadokawa Shoten. A manga adaptation by Hiro Kiyohara was serialized between May 2010 and January 2012 in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine. A 12-episode anime series based on the novel ran from January 10 to March 26, 2012, produced by studio PA Works. A live-action film was released in August in Japan.
