This Tuesday (05), the Japanese slime mascot, Hoppe-chan, had its anime confirmed. The series was titled HOPPECHAN – Mystery of the Sun Kingdom and the Black-Cheek Team .
Synopsis
The story takes place in the Kingdom of the Sun, a universe brimming with "cuteness," where the little goose Hoppe-chan appears with no memory of her past. Meanwhile, in the real world, a young office worker named Hoho struggles with self-confidence and feels adrift in her professional and personal life. In an enigmatic way, Hoppe-chan and Hoho's paths intertwine, while venomous creatures begin to threaten to transform the Kingdom of the Sun into a "dull and uncute place.".
Finally, the animation will be produced by Toon Harbor Works , directed by Nabeshige , with character designs by Gurin and Issa Kawaguchi .
