Daisuke Hagiwara and HERO 's Horimiya manga will get an anime adaptation in January 2021.
This year's October issue of Square Enix 's Monthly G Fantasy did not reveal any more information beyond the news on the cover, but a visual of the anime was released online:
Synopsis
Hori is a normal high school girl, but she is a completely different person outside of school. In the absence of her parents, she takes care of her younger brother. Miyamura, a classmate of hers, is a normal boy, four-eyed and a bit strange, but outside of school he also has a secret. When the two meet unexpectedly, discover each other's secrets, and begin to develop an unexpected friendship. What situations can await them as one knows the other's secret?!

Masashi Ishihama ( Persona 5: The Animation ) will direct the anime at studio CloverWorks . Takao Yoshioka ( Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso ) will write the script and compose it. Haruko Iizuka will design the character while Masaru Yokoyama ( Shigatsu ) will compose the soundtrack.
Horimiya (web manga 4-koma 2007-2011) already received an anime adaptation in 2012 by studio Gonzo and Hoods Entertainment , with 4 OVAs of 23 minutes each.
The “remake” manga of HERO, with illustrations by Daisuke Hagiwara, has been published in Square Enix 's Monthly G Fantasy since 2011, with 14 volumes to date.
