Daisuke Hagiwara and HERO 's Horimiya manga will get an anime adaptation in January 2021.
This year's October issue of Square Enix 's Monthly G Fantasy didn't reveal any more information beyond the news on the cover, but a visual from the anime has surfaced online:
Synopsis
Hori is a normal high school girl, but she's a completely different person outside of school. In her parents' absence, she takes care of her younger brother. Miyamura, a classmate of hers, is a normal boy, four-eyed and a bit strange, but outside of school, he also has a secret. When the two unexpectedly meet, they discover each other's secrets and begin to develop an unexpected friendship. What situations might await them now that they know each other's secrets?!

Masashi Ishihama ( Persona 5: The Animation ) will direct the anime at CloverWorks . Takao Yoshioka ( Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso ) will write the script and compose it. Haruko Iizuka will design the characters, while Masaru Yokoyama ( Shigatsu ) will compose the soundtrack.
Horimiya (web manga 4-koma 2007-2011) already received an anime adaptation in 2012 by the studio Gonzo and Hoods Entertainment , with 4 OVAs of 23 minutes each.
The HERO “remake” manga, with illustrations by Daisuke Hagiwara, has been published in Square Enix ’s Monthly G Fantasy since 2011, with 14 volumes to date.
