The new season of How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord was officially confirmed this Monday. Titled How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord ULT , the sequel received a brand new illustration by Takahiro Tsurusaki , the artist responsible for the visuals of the light novels .
The series follows Diablo, a player transported to another world where he appears as his in-game character. The story blends fantasy and comedy, based on the light novel written by Yukiya Murasaki. The first season premiered in 2018, with global streaming available on Crunchyroll .

The second season of the anime , called How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord Omega , aired in 2021. At the time, Satoshi Kuwabara directed the project at Tezuka Productions and Okuru to Noboru studios. The script was once again written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, while Shizue Kaneko handled the character design.
The main cast returns with Masaaki Mizunaka as Diablo, Yū Serizawa as Shera L Greenwood, and Azumi Waki as Rem Galleu. There is still no release date or details about the production of the new season.
The franchise has surpassed 4 million copies in circulation, including light novels and manga . Currently, the series has 14 published volumes and an ongoing manga adaptation, with volume 29 scheduled for release in April.
Interestingly, in 2023, the anime faced restrictions in Australia after being denied classification for local distribution. Even so, the title maintains international popularity and continues to expand its fanbase.
