Fortnite's new season has brought one of the most anticipated collaborations among comic book and gaming fans. To celebrate the release of the new DC film, Superman (2025), Epic Games' game has released a series of Man of Steel-themed rewards.
In addition to David Corenswet's outfit, players can unlock unique emotes, accessories, and styles. However, to secure all items, players must pay attention to the in-game requirements and availability times.
How to unlock Superman in Fortnite
To get the Superman skin in Fortnite, players must have access to the Chapter 6 Season 3 Battle Pass. This pass can be purchased for 1,000 V-Bucks or through a monthly Fortnite Crew subscription. With the pass activated, the next step is to level up 12 accounts starting July 11th. Progress prior to this date is not considered; all players must achieve 12 additional levels to unlock the character.
Additionally, the complete Superman look is part of a series of 12 rewards that include various cosmetic items, such as gliders, pickaxes, emotes, and alternate styles. Each item is unlocked based on level progress accumulated after the campaign start date.
Superman Items That Don't Require the Battle Pass
While the main outfit is tied to the Battle Pass, Epic Games has also made four rewards available for free. To earn them, simply level up within the collaboration period. They are:
- “The Confrontation” Loading Screen – Unlocked upon reaching 4 levels
- “Super Cape” Back Accessory – Unlocked upon reaching 10 levels
- Superman Banner Icon – Unlocked upon reaching level 16
- “Crystal Smasher” Pickaxe – Unlocked upon reaching level 22
These freebies are an opportunity for players who don't have the Pass but still want to enjoy the collaboration with the DC hero.

This special version, drawn by Jim Lee, creative director of DC Comics, is one of the highlights of the partnership. The "Pen & Ink" style offers a visual feel closer to classic comics, differentiating it from the traditional skins available in the game.
Until when will it be possible to unlock Superman?
All collaboration items will be available until August 7, 2025. Therefore, players have less than a month to accumulate the necessary levels and secure all the hero's cosmetics.
Since this is a limited-time action, it's important to maintain the pace of the game and take advantage of modes that offer more experience, such as weekly challenges and temporary events.
