For fans who were waiting for news about the Hunter x Hunter , they can breathe a sigh of relief. Shueisha and Viz Media announced this week that author Yoshihiro Togashi (Yu Yu Hakusho) will resume his Hunter x manga series , once again weekly Shonen Jump magazine starting in June, with a parallel English .
Hunter x Hunter tells the story of Gon, Leorio, Kurapika, and Killua, who meet while taking the Hunter Exam, a difficult test with superhuman trials designed to verify if the examinee is truly fit to become a Hunter. An anime remake was released in October 2011. In April 2013, the anime remake finally reached the Chimera Ants Gokei arc, which was animated for the first time.
Togashi stopped publishing the manga in March 2012, and the 32nd volume was released in December of the same year. The manga has already inspired two anime series, two films, and several OVAs.
