A strong rumor is circulating on Twitter from user @Tsumize , that Hunter x Hunter will be getting a new anime project. According to the leak, Shueisha decided in March of this year to begin preparations for the new anime.

Synopsis:
The story takes place in a world where hunters exist to perform all sorts of dangerous tasks, such as capturing criminals and searching for lost treasures in unknown territories. However, twelve-year-old Gon Freecss is determined to become the best hunter he can be in the hopes of finding his father, a hunter who abandoned his family long ago. However, Gon soon realizes that the path to achieving his goals is far more challenging than he ever imagined.
The manga began publication in March 1998 in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine . Furthermore, author Yoshihiro Togashi has taken numerous breaks from publishing since 2006.
Finally, Hunter x Hunter gained a new anime by MadHouse , which aired from October 2011 to September 2014 with a total number of 148 episodes .
