A recent update to the Weekly Shonen Jump Yoshihiro Togashi 's Hunter x Hunter manga may have been canceled. According to the magazine's official website, the Hunter x Hunter has moved from a "serialization" to an "archived serialization" category.

The "archived serialization" category covers works that have already been completed, transferred to another journal, or even canceled . However, if this is confirmed, an official announcement could be made in the coming days.
Therefore, the manga had its last chapter released at the end of 2022.
Synopsis:
The story takes place in a world where hunters exist to perform all sorts of dangerous tasks, such as capturing criminals and searching for lost treasures in unknown territories. However, twelve-year-old Gon Freecss is determined to become the best hunter he can be in the hopes of finding his father, a hunter who abandoned his family long ago. However, Gon soon realizes that the path to achieving his goals is far more challenging than he ever imagined.
The manga began publication in March 1998 in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine . Furthermore, author Yoshihiro Togashi has taken numerous breaks from publishing since 2006.
Finally, Hunter x Hunter gained a new anime by MadHouse , which aired from October 2011 to September 2014 with a total number of 148 episodes .
