The anime Hybrid Child , based on the manga by Shungiku Nakamura , has received a second official trailer. The video highlights the theme song "Temperature" , performed by singer Annabel , raising fans' expectations.
The studio will adapt the work into four episodes in the OVA (Original Video Animation) format. The first volume, which features the opening episode, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on October 29th. The release dates for the following volumes have already been set: the second volume will be released on November 26th , the third on December 24th , and the fourth volume will be released on January 28th, 2015 .

The animation is in the hands of Studio Deen , known for working on titles such as Bleach and CANAAN . The direction is by Michio Fukuda (Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital, Hyakko), while the script is written by Aki Itami (Mushi-Shi, The Comic Artist and His Assistants). The design is by Takahiro Kishida , who has already shone in Madoka Magica and Haikyu!! .

Hybrid Child originally serialized in Be x Boy Gold between 2003 and 2004. Kadokawa Shoten later published the manga as a single volume in 2008. In the United States, the work was licensed by Digital Manga Publishing . It is worth mentioning that the story also inspired a Drama CD , with a different cast from the current animation.
