The official website Hybrid Child anime based on Shungiku Nakamura's manga has released a new trailer. The video features the song by singer Annabel, “Temperatura”.
The Hybrid Child manga will be adapted into (1) one of four episodes in OVA (Original video animation) format. The first volume will contain the first episode, which will be released directly on DVD and Blu-ray on October 29th. The second volume will be released on November 26th, and the third on December 24th, while the fourth only arrives on the 28th. January 2015.
The animation is by the studio Studio Deen(Bleach, CANAAN), the direction is by Michio Fukuda responsible for (Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital, Hyakko), the script is by Aki Itami (Mushi-Shi, The Comic Artist and His Assistants) and the character design is by Takahiro Kishida, the same person who directed (Madoka Magica, Haikyu!!).
Seiji Biblos originally serialized the manga in the magazine Be x Boy Gold from 2003 to 2004 , and Kadokawa Shoten later published the manga in one volume in 2008. Digital Manga Publishing released the manga in North America . The manga has already inspired a CD adaptation with different cast from that animation .
The first Hybrid Child OVA is scheduled to arrive in October of this year.
