Kadokawa revealed during the “Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai Online 2023” live event that a new anime is in development for the novel “I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World” (Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musōsuru).
The event, however, did not reveal the format of the new project.

The light novel's illustrator, Kuwashima, drew a commemorative illustration for the announcement:
The first season of the anime series premiered on April 6 and featured 13 episodes.
Synopsis
A door to another world stretches before a boy who has been brutally bullied his entire life. This alternate reality then grants you access to all things like cheating abilities and a portal that allows you to travel between your old and new world! Can this class failure turn things around at home...?
The work has 3 million copies in circulation worldwide. The 14th volume of the light novel launched in Japan on June 20th. Finally, the fifth volume of the manga was released on August 25th.
