Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san 2nd Attack – New video features the opening theme song

Arthur Vinicius
I'm a technology enthusiast and a lover of anime, manga, and games. The vast majority of anime I enjoy belong to the Shounen demographic.

The official website for the Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san revealed a second promotional video on Friday for the second season, titled Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san 2nd Attack . The video features the opening theme song by Uesaka , “LOVE CRAZY”.

The video also reveals that the anime will premiere on television on January 7th.

Sumire  Uesaka , the voice of Nagatoro, will once again perform the opening theme song “LOVE CRAZY”. Uesaka will be joined again by fellow voice actresses Mikako  Komatsu (Gamo-chan), Aina  Suzuki (Yosshii), and Shiori  Izawa (Sakura) to perform the ending theme song “MY SADISTIC ADOLESCENCE♡”.

Uesaka's 13th single, "LOVE CRAZY", will therefore premiere on February 8th.

Therefore, the new voice actors are:

  • Yoshino Nanjou as Anetoro (Hayase Nagatoro's older sister)
  • Sayumi Suzushiro as Sunomiya
  • Kaori Maeda as Orihara

The new season of Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san will therefore premiere in January 2023, and will also feature the return of the main voice actors.

Shinji Ushiro (Youkai Watch) is directing the anime at studio OLM, while Taku Kishimoto (ERASED, 2019's Fruits Basket, Haikyu!!) is returning to supervise the series scripts. Misaki Suzuki (sub-character design on Lupin the Third: Part 5, Tari Tari) returns to design the characters, and Gin (Busted Rose) of Pop Team Epic and Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!? is once again composing the music.

Synopsis

Hayase Nagatoro, along with her friends, spends her days terrorizing the peace of her Senpai, a boy older than her. Her intention is simply to annoy or even embarrass him. Seeing that he doesn't react much, the jokes and pranks against him only increase.

Hirokazu Hanai (Dances with the Dragons) directed the first season at Telecom Animation Film. The first season of the anime premiered in April 2021, and Crunchyroll streamed the season as it aired in Japan. Finally, Nanashi debuted the manga on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket website in November 2017.
