During the Kadokawa Light Novel Expo 2021 light novel In the Land of Leadale ( Leadale no Daichi nite ) was revealed According to the event, the adaptation will be an anime for TV.
Maho Film studio ( I'm Standing on a Million Lives, Uchi no Musume ) will handle the animation, directed by Takeyuki Yanase (Himegoto).
Synopsis:
The last thing she can remember is that her life support began to fail. Her body had suffered terribly after a tragic accident and the only freedom left in her life came from the VR world in Leadale. How did she end up in a place that looks exactly like her game, except apparently 200 years have passed?
Finally, the novel In the Land of Leadale by authors Ceez and Tenmaso began to be published in Shōsetsuka ni Narō in November 2010 and ended in December 2012. Six chapters after the end of the story were later published by Ceez from 2013 to 2019.
