New Injustice 3 Rumor Points to Supergirl and Batwoman

A new leak adds weight to the existence of Injustice 3, suggesting that NetherRealm may be working on the next game in the franchise and naming two characters.
According to MP1st, a stunt performer's resume mentions motion capture sessions for Injustice 3. The performer has previously worked with NetherRealm, which lends more credibility to the listing. So far, however, Warner Bros. and the studio have not officially announced the project.
The names mentioned in the resume include Supergirl and Batwoman. Supergirl's presence would not be a major surprise, as the character played an important role in Injustice 2, released in 2017.
Batwoman could return
Batwoman is the biggest new reveal in the latest leak. In the franchise's comics, which are considered part of the games' universe, the character died. Still, her return could happen in several ways, including a new person taking up the mantle or a storyline involving time travel.
Finally, if the project is indeed in production, Injustice 3 would mark NetherRealm's return to the DC universe after years focused on Mortal Kombat.
