The official website for the TV adaptation of Kota Nozomi's light novel, Inou Battle Within Everyday (Inō-Battle wa Nichijō-kei no Naka de), has released a new trailer. The video shows a bit of the story along with the opening theme song "OVERLAPPERS" by Qverktett. The series premieres on October 6th in Japan.
Masanori Takahashi will direct the series, which is being animated by Studio Trigger (Black Rock Shooter) with music composition by Masahiko Otsuka. Satoshi Yamaguchi will be designing the anime's characters.
In the story, the five members of the literature club awakened extraordinary powers half a year ago. Although they expected to enter a world of extraordinary battles at their school, nothing of the sort happened, and their daily routine remained unchanged. There are no secret organizations bent on destroying the world, no wars with superpowers, no demon kings.
Nozomi began the series as a light novel in 2012. He made his debut in the Bunko Award-winning 3 GA. Kosuke Kurose launched a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Monthly Comp Ace magazine last September, and Kadokawa published the first compiled volume in March.
