Publisher JBC announced through a live broadcast that the InuYasha manga be relaunched.
The relaunch will be in Tankobon , allowing the 56 volumes of the previous format to be compiled into just 30 .
Additionally, the relaunch will feature color pages .
In Japan, Inuyasha was originally published in Shonen Sunday magazine between 1996 and 2008. In Brazil, JBC published the work between 2002 and 2009 in 112 volumes in a half-tanko format. In 2016, the manga won a popular poll conducted by JBC to promote its relaunch.
At the same time, it is good to remember that Inuyasha will gain an anime sequel entitled Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon (Hanyō no Yasha-hime), which will premiere on Japanese TV in October and with animation by the Sunrise .
